The new Guldmann GH3 ceiling hoist is now available from SwiftTech. It has a modular design concept that makes sure GH3 installations blend perfectly with both new and existing architecture and interior design.
The GH3 is easy to install, straightforward to use and makes lifting proceedures easy, safe and comfortable for all those involved.
Three different types of rails are available as part of the GH3 system, each specially designed to tackle particular spans and lifting weights. Combining these appropriately makes installation an easy, rapid process. The rails can be mounted on the ceiling, on walls or on supporting pillars, or any combination of these.
In December 2007 SwiftTech's expansion program required the company to relocate to larger premises in order to increase the warehousing and office accommodation to enable the company to service the increasing workload.
The new Head Office and warehousing facility in Melksham situated on the Bowerhill Industrial Estate in Wiltshire has provided an excellent base for the company to further grow and establish its position within the specialist moving and handling, hygiene equipment market.
This facility will provide scope for the additional warehousing and distribution of the Pressalit range of hygiene equipment now being supplied and installed by SwiftTech.
SwiftTech have recently completed a prestigious project at the Royal Chelsea Hospital for the Chelsea Pensioners in conjunction with Wates construction.
This project involved the supply and installation of 26 complex bedroom to bathroom systems, assisted bathrooms and hydro pool system.
The rail systems were designed to integrate into the ceiling and fit in with the tastefully designed architecture and coving etc.

SwiftTech are delighted to announce the completion of another significant project at the Newton Abbott Community Hospital in Devon. This project was run with Rydon Construction and consisted of the installation of 29 rail systems in the single rooms and 4 bedded wards.
In the single rooms, the rail ran from the bed area to the ensuite with the rails integrated into the ceiling grid giving an excellent aesthetically pleasing finish and minimising the infection control risks.
The four bedded bays were fitted out with room covering systems using the continuous charging facility to ensure a state of readiness at all times.
With the primary rails integrated into the ceiling this increased the lift height and improved the aesthetics and infection control risks.
The neat door head detail allows seamless transfer of patients from the bedroom to the ensuite.
