Guldmann Sling range
SwiftTech supply and deliver a large range of Guldmann slings to suit many varied requirements.
The sling range is divided into 3 main sections; Basic, Active and Custom.
Basic range
These slings are basically general purpose slings available either with or without head supports and in various materials to suit the application
Basic High polyester sling with head support
Basic Low sling for the more able users.
Active range
These slings are used either for toileting procedures or walking and walking training.
Custom range
These slings are more specialized and include sit-on slings and amputee slings and special made to order slings.
Amputee sling for single or doulble amputee's
Sit-on slings with and without head support
High back Disposable slings for single patient specific uses.
Standard back Disposable slings for single patient specific uses.
Four point multi positioning sling available with manual or powered spreader bar adjustment.
As above but in polyester material.
The Basic and the Active Guldmann sling ranges are available in sizes from Kids 4-6 up XXXL and specials are available following an assessment by one of our representatives.
The Custom sling ranges are available in a smaller range of sizes.

SwiftTech Range of Sling Systems
SwiftTech design and manufacture their own sling systems for use with the SwiftTech range of Mobile Hoist systems.
All slings are manufactured in accordance with CE and European regulations.
Standard General Purpose sling range
The SwiftTech general purpose slings are available with or without head supports and in either polyester or mesh materials as standard. The unique shaping and padding make these sling one of the most comfortable slings on the market today.
Features include:
- Polyester or mesh fabrics.
- Special comfort shaping to prevent pressure
- Stretchy binding to outside of sling to prevent marking to skin
- Colour coded loop attachments
- Available in small, med, large and extra large sizes
- Special sizes are available on request
SwiftTech Paediatric General Purpose slings
SwiftTech's range of paediatric slings provide children with severe physical disabilities, a comfortable and supportive solution the their lifting requirements.
Features include:
- Available in polyester or mesh materials
- Extra width at the shoulders to allow for scoliosis
- Head support as standard
- Optional Velcro strap available
- Special terry towelling lining available
SwiftTech Toileting slings
The SwiftTech standard toileting sling is available in polyester only and in small, medium, large and extra large sizes.
Features include:
- Single wide Velcro strap for security.
- Colour coded loop attachments
- Available in small, med, large and extra large sizes
- Special sizes are available on request.
- Available with a head support on request
SwiftTech Enablement sling
The SwiftTech enablement sling has been designed along with the Centre for Enablement in Oxford for use where the standard Toileting sling is not providing enough support.
This sling allows the patient to put their arms on the inside and thus avoiding the problem with pressure being put under the armpits.
Features include:
- Dual Velcro strap with the additional adjustable buckles gives good support and the nonslip lining at the back of the sling helps to prevent the user sliding down when in use.
- Unique leg straps with the added tension strap provide the user with good support and yet access for clothing adjustments as required.
- Colour coded looped attachments.
- Available in small medium and large sizes.
- Specials available on request.
- We recommend an assessment is done either with one of our representatives or a qualified manual handling assessor before initial usage.
SwiftTech Longham sling
These slings are required where a user either has a bi-lateral amputation or requires sitting on a sling for some length of time.
Features include:
- Available in either polyester or mesh materials
- With or without commode access.
- Unique Comfort shaping
We recommend using this sling with metal side suspenders to spread the leg and shoulder strap connection points.
Combi deluxe standing sling
The SwiftTech deluxe standing sling provides excellent comfort and support when using the mobile Swift lifter and Solus standing systems.
Features include:
- Dual belt and bucket fastening
- Non slip lining to rear of sling.
- Colour coded loop attachment system
- Available in small, medium and large sizes.
Transport sling
The SwiftTech Transport sling is for use with the Mobile hoist standing systems and offers additional support where patients need to be transported from one area to another.
This sling is available in polyester and in two sizes - medium and large.
