This unique lifting module incorporates an automatic device that allows it to be lowered and raised to and from the rail systems without any physical lifting by the carer.
This opens up the possibility of being able to use one lifting module between multiple rail installations in various locations.
The Hoist module can be simply disengaged from the rail and lowered in to a custom designed transport trolley and the moved to another location.
The transport trolley enables the module to be stored and charged when not in use a moved around safely.
The unique coupling system raises the module and engages it with the rail in an alternative location.
This provides a very cost effective solution where a number of locations are requiring a lifting solution but perhaps not in use constantly for example in a private property or in a respite unit.
This module is used where a very heavy weight capacity is required. The module and operated via a single handset and incorporates a levelling device when using with a supine stretcher.
Weight capacity 455 kgs
The system can be used with looped single spreader bar or 4 point cross hanger to distribute load for very obese patients.
The comprehensive Guldmann rail system offers a variety of solutions depending on the site requirements and weight capacities required.
The rail sizes from 58mm x 53mm up to 170mm x 53mm allow spans from 1,750mm to 7,500mm to be negotiated if ceiling fixing points are not available or supports can only be taken from the walls.
The Midi rail system allows continuous charging where as the other three rails has a designated charging station at one end of the rail.
If either ceiling or wall supports are not available then wall posts can be used to take loadings down to the floor.
Rails can be configured as follows:-
Powered Turntable (B)
Powered or Manual Switchtrack available 90o, 60o or 45o (C)
Powered or manual Combilock gate system (D)
X_Y room covering system to x-y room covering rail system via double combilock Portable system. (E)
The rail systems are fixed in various ways depending on the availability of structure and access to roof voids etc.
The standard bracket either direct to the ceiling or extended is secured using Coach bolts, rawl bolts or chemical fixings.
This bracket can also be secured to a raking or pitched rafter
If the extended bracket is longer than 300mm it requires stabilisation
Should no ceiling fixing be available a wall bracket can be used, these can be end or side mounted.
Vertical wall post supports where not ceiling or wall fixing.
